Our fifth reunion has come and gone but not before adding some new memories to the old ones of our days at Brown. A huge thank-you to all those who attended the memorable weekend, because without you all, our reunion wouldn't have been possible or nearly as fun.

Among the weekend highlights, of course, was Campus Dance, which was simply magical yet again. And thank goodness the rain held off. The class panel, moderated by Professor Barbara Tannenbaum, was a wonderful tribute to those classmates on the panel - Eric Briggs, Josh Davis, Karen Emma, and Kathy Colville - and the diversified journeys they've all taken since graduation. Saturday's class dinner went well, with more than 100 alumni and guests attending. On Sunday, about 100 or so revelers enjoyed appetizers, drinks, and a few games of pool at Dave & Busters.

One of the most impressive parts of the weekend, however, was the number of '97 graduates who converged on campus for Monday's Commencement march. A truly remarkable turnout by a truly remarkable class! As it has done so many times before, the class of '97 came together. Thus, we succeeded in breaking the dollar amount for the annual fund contribution.

I would like to thank all the members on the reunion committee who spent many months preparing for the reunion. To those who were unable to attend the fifth, we look forward to seeing you at the tenth!
