Last year’s team MVP, forward Hayley Moore, jostled for position against St. Lawrence University’s Marianna Locke during a home game on November 30. The Bears dropped the game, 6–2, despite a goal and an assist from Moore. The women were 2–12–3 as of early January. The men, 1–11–4 over the same period, have also had a disappointing year. Perhaps the most frustrating game of the season for the men’s team was its January 5 contest against Yale. With Brown ahead, 2–1, and just over a minute to play, Yale tied the game and scored again fifty-one seconds into overtime.
