In addition to receiving an honorable mention All-Ivy honor, men’s soccer cocaptain Jack Gorab ’16, a Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations concentrator with a 3.75 GPA, was named a Senior CLASS Award First Team All-American.… Women’s basketball got off to an 8–1 start, the best since 1973–74.… During an early December game against Georgetown, basketball forward Cedric Kuakumensah ’16 became the best shot blocker in Ivy League history by swatting away his 253rd.… In November wide receiver Brian Strachan ’16 won the Nils V. “Swede” Nelson Award for outstanding achievement in academics, athletics, sportsmanship, and citizenship.… Named to this year’s CoSIDA Academic All-District I Football Team were Dakota Girard ’17, Will Quigley ’16, Quintin Rizek ’16, Grant Senne ’16, and Brian Strachan ’16; Quigley was also a Second Team CoSIDA Academic All-American.… Soccer defender Jack Hagstrom ’19 is Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Year; Hagstrom and Tariq Akeel ’16 also made the All-Ivy First Team.… Darren Eales ’95 and Fred Pereira ’77 were inducted into the New England Soccer Hall of Fame.… Charlotte Beach ’16 played in the 2015 New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl on December 5.
