Class president Bill Hindley reports: "We celebrated our 68th mini-reunion on Friday, May 28, with a luncheon in the Sharpe Refectory. Thanks to Eleanor McAndrews Retallick for the arrangements, which were excellent as usual. After the luncheon we observed a period of silence for our president, Joseph Galkin, who died in January. We held a short meeting to elect a slate of officers to serve until the 70th reunion in 2001. The new officers are: Bill Hindley, president and secretary; Eleanor McAndrews Retallick, vice president; and Howard Angell, treasurer. On Monday, Howard and Bernie Buonanno represented the class in the Commencement procession. Also attending the mini-reunion were Bill's wife, Dorothy Hindley; Hector Laudati and his wife, Edythe; and guests Jane Hurrell, George Williams, and Gretta Galkin. Ben Greenfield, his wife, Doris, and Oscar Skinner had planned to attend, but could not."
