The book is about the once-in-a-lifetime snowstorm that blanketed south Texas on Christmas Eve in 2004. To promote the book, Clark toured Texas in an Airstream trailer complete with snow-making machines and lawn penguins. Clark is a screenwriter based in Los Angeles.
