I read with interest the article about Christine Montross ’06 MD, ’07 MMS (“Anatomy Lesson,” September/October). I have often thought about donating my body to science. Is there a particular procedure to follow? What steps does one take?

Although there are many organ-donor programs around the country, donating an entire body to science is usually done through a medical school. At Brown’s Warren Alpert Medical School, the contact is Shannon Silva, who can be reached at shannon_silva@brown.edu.
