After a career in investment banking, Arthur Carter '53 turned to the news business, founding the New York Observer and the Litchfield County Times, and acquiring the Nation. Then he demonstrated his golden touch in the arts. This untitled 2003 work is made of stainless steel. It's on loan to Brown for the next three years and is installed next to Carrie Tower on the Front Green.
