President Paxson addressed onlookers near the wreath placed at the war memorial in the Ruth J. Simmons Quad on Veterans Day. Also speaking at the event were incoming Providence mayor Jorge Elorza, veteran Philip Crean ’15 and Ted Lowe ’49, civilian aid to the Secretary of the Army. U.S. Army Major Michael Moricas also swore in ROTC cadet Jonathan Davis ’16.
