Social Work

March 12th, 2015
I was delighted to read about the success of Renata Martin ’14 at Brown in preparing for a medical career; the life work of Judge Joseph Tauro ’53; the development project in Central Falls, Rhode Island, involving Stephen Larrick ’11, Matt Jerzyk ’99, and Sonia Grace ’98; the book-long exposé on the practices of the U.S. security establishment by James Risen ’77; and the artistic successes of Tracee Ellis Ross ’94  and Sabrina Gschwandtner ’00. It’s so nice to hear of Brown grads doing socially useful work and not just making money on Wall Street or developing trivial apps in Silicon Valley.
