Looking to increase security, the University will renovate 1,500 feet of commercial space near campus for a Providence Police Department substation.… The Corporation announced the leaders of the upcoming capital campaign, which will raise money for the Initiatives for Academic Enrichment: cochairs Elizabeth Chace ’59, Matthew Mallow ’64, and Jerome Vascellaro ’74 and honorary chairmen Anthony Ittleson ’60 and Artemis Joukowsky ’55.... Brown received nearly $225,000 from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to establish workshops for graduate students writing dissertations.... Massachusetts ranked first in Professor of Political Science Darrell West’s fourth annual survey of state government Web sites; Texas ranked second and Indiana third.... The Corporation approved the design of the $95 million life-sciences building.
