Mens Basketball 8-19
Though the cagers finished seventh in the Ivies, Earl Hunt 03, the number-two Ivy scorer, earned an honorable mention on the All-Ivy team. This season Hunt averaged seventeen points per game.

Womens Basketball 9-19
The women swept the final road trip of the season, defeating Cornell, 70-64, and Columbia, 70-65. After a record-breaking season, Barbara Maloni 03 was selected to the All-Ivy and All-Rookie second teams.

Mens Fencing 14-9
Even with its top two fencers out with injuries, the squad beat New Hampshire, Tufts, and UMass, losing only to Boston College, over a weekend in mid-February.

Womens Fencing 15-9
The squad ended the season ranked seventeenth nationally. Sarah Hobstetter 03 placed seventh in the womens epe at the NCAA championships at Stanford, earning All-American honors and producing the best individual fencing results in Brown history.

Gymnastics 9-6
Team captain Sydney Foster 00 earned an all-around score of 37.400 at the NCAA Northeast regional competition. In February, the Bears placed fourth in the Ivy classic at Cornell.

Mens Ice Hockey 6-19-3
The Icers finished the season with a 4-2 loss to Union, giving up the tenth and final ECAC playoff slot. Scott Stirling 00 was named to the GTE Academic All-District second team.

Womens Ice Hockey 25-4-3
The season ended with a second-place finish at the AWHCA national championships, where the Bears dropped a 4-2 decision to Minnesota. Ali Brewer 00 and Tara Mounsey 01 were named to the All-New England team.

The womens squad finished eleventh out of twenty invited teams at the U.S. National Skiing Championships.

Mens Squash 8-8
Brown captured the Hoean Cup at the Intercollegiate Squash Association national team championship at Yale, winning a 5-4 victory over Cornell in the final game. The Bears finished the season with a ninth-place national ranking.

Womens Squash 7-9
The Bears finished seventh at the Howe Cup as Leslie Mann 02, the teams top player, helped secure a 5-4 win over Cornell.

Mens Swimming 7-5
The Bears recorded 785 points and took fifth place at the 2000 EISL championship in March. Mike Peters 02 took seventh place in the 1,650-yard freestroke and Jason Weber 02 finished fifth in the 200-yard backstroke.

Womens Swimming 6-4
Katie Cowan 00 was selected to the womens at-large first team of the GTE Academic All-District I. She and Judy Koonstra 02 represented the Bears at the NCAA championships.

Mens Track 0-4
Trinity Gray 00 earned his seventh All-American honor after finishing fourth at the NCAA championships. The United Track Coaches Association named him the regions indoor athlete of the year.

Womens Track 2-2
The team had three first-team All-Ivy selections and two second-team choices after finishing second in the heptagonal championships.

Wrestling 7-10
Bronson Lingamfelter 02 defeated a Penn State player, 6-4, in the first-round of the heavyweight division at the NCAA championships.
