The women’s ski team took advantage of ample snowfall this year, excelling in both the slalom and giant slalom. The women’s baskeball team also played strongly, beating both undefeated Dartmouth and defending champion Penn, entering the last weekend of the season in a third-place Ivy tie with Penn.

In mid-February, Sarah Hayes ’06 led the women’s basketball team (above) with twenty-three points in a 76–69 win over defending Ivy champ Penn; entering the last weekend of the season, the women were 16–9 (8–4 Ivy).

Jessica Link ’05 moved the puck against Providence College on November 27 as the women’s ice hockey team won the Mayor’s Cup for the sixth time in ten years; by the end of February the team was 14–13–2 overall (11–8–1 Ivy).
