The men's rowing team added pink to the school colors in October at the snowy Head of the Charles regatta, where it raised money to "Pull for a Cure" in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The team raised more than $23,000, which it presented to the American Cancer Society at the race. Rower Dan Aziz '11, who came up with the idea, says the fund-raiser will continue next year, when Brown will challenge teams from the other Ivies to join in in raising $250,000. "Several of us," Aziz says, "including myself, have seen women in our lives have to struggle with this terrible disease." Oh, and the team finished fifth in the regatta.
