Pick Your Fat

"Eating Fat Can Save Your Life" provided "food for thought" (July/August). Can an olive-oil-rich Mediterranean diet provide disease-reducing health benefits? Mary Flynn's preliminary research suggests the answer is yes.

I would be interested to learn of similar research with canola oil. The lipid profiles are amazingly close. To my palate canola is preferable to olive oil. Remember, it's not good nutrition unless you can get people to eat it.
